🇹🇷 Grew up in Yalova. I moved to Istanbul for my undergraduate education. I had lived in Istanbul until I moved to Santa Barbara, CA for a Ph.D.
👔 Working at Visa Inc. as a Research Scientist. I am working real-time payment fraud detection models.
🎓 Obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science in University of California at Santa Barbara, supervised by Prof. Ambuj Singh at Dynamo Lab. My research interests are explainability of graph machine learning and anomaly detection models.
🎓 Obtained my BSc in Computer Science from Sabanci University, Turkey. I worked on Graph based Recommendation Systems, supervised by Prof. Yucel Saygin, for my bachelor graduation project. I ranked 1st in Computer Science department.
🧠 Result oriented, responsible and hardworking are the three adjectives which could summarize me. I can learn things fast. Also, I am a good teacher with a lot of teaching experiences. I see myself as a good researcher in the future.
💪 I like doing exercise. I try to 🏊 swim or 🏃 run everyday, I enjoy playing ⚽ football with friends.
⚽ I am addicted to watching football. I am a huge fan of 🦁 Galatasaray and Barcelona. Leo Messi is my favourite.
👨💻 I like doing research on artificial intelligence.
🎮 I mostly like RPG or Simulation Games. My favorites are 👹 Diablo, ⚽ Football Manager, and Pokémon.
