Hello! I'm Mert.

Mert has received an invitation from the general chair of KDD 2023, Prof. Ambuj Singh, to serve as Registration Chair in KDD 2023. Mert gladly accepted to be involved in the organization committee.

Mert has become 5th year Ph.D. student at UCSB! This year, his focus will be on his research.

Mert finished his 3rd internship at Visa Research, Austin office. Compared to the last two internships, this was in-person experience. He made multiple good friends. He worked on a project related to Human-in-the-loop systems. [Read More]

Mert has finished his 4th year at UCSB! This year was his one of the most productive years in terms of research, multiple projects had progressed. He started to collaborate with different members from the lab and different universities.

Mert has become 4th year Ph.D. candidate at UCSB! He will be a teaching assistant for Algorithm & Data Structure II course in Fall Quarter. Besides teaching, he will focus on his research.
